Satori Strings Contest Entry Forms and Fees
The Satori Strings Contest encourages the study of music, creates performing
opportunities and enriches the culture of the community.
The Satori Strings Contest is sponsored by Amac Violin Center and Satori
Strings Inc.
Eligibility
Students under the age of 19 years old are eligible to participate.

Application Fees for Each Entry
Solo categories:
I. Qualified Category: $38
II. Open Category: $48
III. Prodigy Category: $55
Ensembles:
IV: Open Ensemble Group: $19 each contestant
( Group mebers 4 or more) Ensemble
V: Open Ensemble Group: $25 each contestant
(Group members 3 or less)
VI: Qualified Ensemble Group: $15 each contestant
(Group mebers 4 or more) Ensemble
VII: Qualified Ensemble Group: $19
(Group members 3 or less)

Grand Prize Contest: Procedure and Schedule
1st place winners in the Prodigy and Open categories are encouraged to sign
up for the Grand Prize Contest,
An additional $15 application fee will be applied for each solo contestant.
Four(4) solo winners will be chosen as follows:
Category I: Age nine (9) and younger.
Category II: Ages ten (10) through twelve (12).
Category III: Ages thirteen (13) through fifteen (15).
Category IV: Ages sixteen (16) and up.
An additional application fee will be applied for each Ensemble contestant group.
$19 for each ensemble group 3 members or less
$25 for each ensemble group 4 members or more
Two (2)groups of ensemble contestants will be chosen as follows:
Category I: Age thirteen (13) and younger.
The oldest member of the ensemble must be under thirteen (13).
Category II: Age fourteen (14) and up.
